“Don’t hold back!  Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for Him is a waste of time or effort.”  (1 Corinthians 15:58, The Message)

Perhaps the Holy Spirit had us in mind when Paul was inspired to pen those words to the Corinth church.  Every effort matters in His Kingdom economy—and our confidence is in Him!

Not only did God lead you to completely eradicate our church’s long-term debt in the first week of 2009, He has been prompting us to give sacrificially to our mission partners. 

What has He led us to give?  Over and above our regular budgeted support, you have given $119,081.44 through our annual missions offering. 

You directed your gifts in these ways:

        Mission to Unreached Peoples -- $56,755.41

        Baptist General Convention of Texas -- $23,685.80

                    (BGCT, Mary Hill Davis, Texas Baptist Offering for World Hunger)

        Southern Baptist Convention -- $22,613.33  (Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings)

        Cooperative Baptist Fellowship -- $6,276.32  (Global Missions Offering)

        Baptist World Alliance -- $5,514.15

        Collin Baptist Association -- $4,236.43

Perhaps the best commentary on your faithfulness comes from Randy Alcorn, who writes:  “Giving is a giant lever positioned on the fulcrum of this world, allowing us to move mountains in the next world.  Because we give, eternity will be different - for others and for us.”
