Welcome to Awana Clubs at First Baptist Plano!
But what exactly is it?
Awana is a disciple-making ministry that is used in 30,000 churches around the world. Awana clubs are for preschool through elementary children (2 yrs-6th grade) and uses fun, age-appropriate games, activities and incentives to challenge kids to learn and apply God’s word.
Accountability is part of the Awana curriculum. Each child receives a workbook, which is included in the registration fee, and parents partner with their children as they teach them specific scriptures. Through Awana, kids lives are transformed. Families become stronger, and churches build community through active involvement.
