Bible study classes are offered for all ages...from preschoolers to senior adults. We have discovered that people get connected, build relationships, grow spiritually, and discover opportunities for service more easily when they are involved in a Sunday morning Bible study class. When you arrive on campus, you will be greeted in a friendly manner, and escorted to our Welcome Center. Our Welcome Center personnel will explain our Bible study class options, and escort you to the class of your choice. Join us this Sunday at 10:05 a.m., and please park in our designated guest parking!
In our married adult ministry we desire to build strong marriages and families centered in Christ. Through Sunday morning Bible study, socials, and other programs and activities, couples of all ages and stages of life become connected through relationships and growth in spiritual development. We are blessed to have God-called and gifted people teaching and serving in leadership within our Bible study classes, and within the other areas of our married adult ministry.
Our Single adults, who are either never married or formerly married, experience excellent Bible teaching and developing friendships each week. Activities include luncheons, retreats, theme parties, and socials with other single adult groups in the area. We are involved in various mission projects locally and beyond, and are involved in all aspects of the total ministry of First Baptist Church.
Sunday morning Bible study classes, plus numerous activities beyond Sunday morning provide a spiritually and socially active ministry for senior adults. Activities include a monthly “Friendship Club” luncheon followed by professional entertainment, an early morning walking group, and frequent class socials. Also throughout the year we offer a variety of day trips to interesting local destinations, plus overnight trips to some of the most beautiful parts of our country. All senior adults are enthusiastically welcomed to be a part of this exciting, growing ministry.
Looking for a group to connect with, apart from Sunday morning? We have groups that meet at different times and locations throughout the week. These would include, but not limited to, Bible studies, prayer emphases, marriage enrichment, parenting, discipleship-making, and financial management.
Do you feel overwhelmed, intimidated, insufficient, too old, too young or too invisible? Gideon's story tells of one man's struggle with his own weakness--and the One True God who transformed it into triumph.
The 7-week study begins Thursday, March 16, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in B201. $13 workbooks will be available for purchase at the first session. Childcare (babies-PreK) provided by reservation only.
