Child Protection Policy

At First Baptist Plano, we take seriously the trust you have placed in us to invest in your child.  Therefore, as a church, we have adopted our Child Protection Policy.  Every adult who volunteers with children, defined by the State of Texas as anyone ages 17 and below, must meet the parameters of this policy.

Here are some highlights of the policy

• must be a member of  First Baptist Plano, in good standing, for at least six months
• must fill out an application
• must agree to the guidelines set forth in the policy
• must pass a criminal background check

Volunteers who have been cleared will be wearing a photo id badge to let you know they have been qualified through this process.  A full copy of the policy is available in the church office or any information kiosk.
