OAXACA VBS - December 26 through January 2, 2009

Three teams flew to Huatulco, Oaxaca on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Alfredo Lopez, a local church leader, met them and took them to Salina Cruz for the week long stay.

Teams worked at three churches in the Salina Cruz area, leading VBS during the morning. The VBS Curriculum was provided by the BGCT.

The theme of our VBS:  EXPLORING THE WONDERS OF GOD’S CREATION

The central verse: Psalm 104:24

How many are your works, O Lord!

In wisdom you made them all;

The earth is full of your creatures.

Dr. Omar Nicolas requested that we bring crayons for the children to color the Creation booklet that we used as a teaching tool.

You can see from the pictures that telling the stories of God’s creation was be a wonderful experience sitting on the beach of the ocean.
