Leadership Council will present their recommendation for facility renovation or relocation at the close of both worship services this Sunday. If you have questions for members of the Leadership Council, you are encouraged to attend Sunday night’s Discussion of Recommendation at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall.  The members of the Leadership Council are: Jay Breeding, Jim Conine, Tom Donaldson, David Flowers, Glen Funderburk, Judy Ross, Russ Schuler, Julie Spitzenberger, David Steenbergen, Daniela Tecuatl, Steve Unger, Craig Curry, Tommy Shumate, Steven Braucht, and Jeff Howard.

Sunday, October 15, begins the third week of our Month of Prayer. Fallon Curry composed a month-long daily prayer guide for our church family to use as we seek the Lord and His next steps for First Baptist Plano. Daily prayer guides are available for the month of October in both printed and electronic format (emailed each morning).  Printed versions are available in your Sunday School class, as well as at the Information Center.  If you would like to receive the email version of the daily prayer guide, please text FBCPLANO to 22828 or click here to subscribe online. This will also allow you to receive the Friday First Connect updates.

Mark your calendars for our church-wide 24 Hour Prayer Vigil on Thursday, October 26, from midnight to midnight.  We are asking for church members to commit to one or more 30-minute time slots for a dedicated time of prayer for our church family.  Prayer guides will be available for this special time of prayer.  You can pray any where you would like - at home, at work during your lunch hour, or with friends at a special location.  The church will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., if you would like to pray in the sanctuary.  To sign up for a time slot, call the Church Office at 972-424-8551 or send an email to   or j  with your preferred time.
