On September 28 and October 1, the Properties and Facilities Strategic Planning Team presented their findings after spending just shy of one year evaluating our current facilities, gathering information about facility usage, and researching alternate facility designs and/or locations that might better support the needs of FBC Plano both now and in the future. Additionally, the team presented three potential options: 1) renovate our current facilities; 2) purchase land and build new facilities; or 3) keep current facility with no changes. Mock-up drawings for Option 1 and Option 2 are on display in the Breezeway/Crosswalk. The Properties and Facilities Strategic Planning Team members are Lisa Gorman , Marc Spitzenberger, Wayne Stevenson, Jeanell Walker, Dwayne Weaver, and Stephanie Wells. We encourage each person in our fellowship to seek out these team members and ask questions as we continue in this season of praying and planning.
Today begins the second week of our Month of Prayer. Fallon Curry composed a month-long daily prayer guide for our church family to use as we seek the Lord and His next steps for First Baptist Plano. Daily prayer guides are available for the month of October in both printed and electronic format (emailed each morning). Printed versions are available in your Sunday School class, as well as at the Information Center.
